Fire Horse Cane Corso is dedicated to producing performance oriented Cane Corso, sound in mind and body, while honoring the Italian traditions of form and function that shaped the breed.
We are hobby breeders and produce well planned, occasional litters of Cane Corso Italiano puppies from our own Fire Horse champions, imports from top European kennels and other outstanding dogs from quality Italian bloodlines. Pups from these litters are matched, based on temperament, with approved families. If you are interested in a Fire Horse Cane Corso puppy, please complete a puppy application. About the breed: The Cane Corso (pronounced Kha-nay Kor-so) represents a great deal of history to the farmers of the southern Italian countryside. This is where they were shaped over the centuries into the breed that we know today. These are working dogs, versatile by necessity. Colors of gray / blue, black, fawn and brindle served different purposes, dark to guard by night, light to guard by day. A Cane Corso is not for everyone. This is a large, dominant breed dog and must be treated as such in order to achieve harmony in your home. I consider the Cane Corso to be an “enthusiast” breed… this is not the dog to get if you simply want a furry companion. With that said, if you are up to the task, few dogs are as rewarding to own. A Cane Corso will bond closely with his owner and will provide awesome protection of his home and family. Registration is provided by AKC or ICCF in USA and FCI affiliates worldwide.
